  3. I didn't get a chance to watch the vlog yet because it's family day and I am not supposed to be on the computer lol!! I will definitely watch it after everyone goes to bed though. You got so many awesome books chick!! I love seeing what searches led to your blog. Most of mine are pretty normal, though once in a while I get something really odd.

  4. So I've been thinking of doing a book haul kind of post on my blog. Really I haven't because I was afraid of coming off braggy. I'm so glad that you explained why you do yours. It makes so much sense to me. It is a thank you to those peeps who sent you books and a way to share those discovers. I actually had a reader ask me to start doing this type of post. When I asked about it on twitter, the response was overwhelmingly yes. So I guess I need to get on that.

As for your books this week. I read Dante's Girl this week. Cute book. And I'm reading jelly bean crisis soon too. Good haul!

    1. Ha-ha, I was the reader that asked Val why she doesn't do a book haul post! Glad she's thinking about doing it!

  5. I forgot about Dante's Girl! It sounds cute and I can't wait to start it. The Jelly Bean Crisis sounds cute too. I need to read Callum & Harper and then get Thomas & January. Going to try to read Callum & Harper for the All Male Review Challenge this month since one of the POVs is male. Happy reading!

  6. Gah! Totally jealous you got Cursed! SO FUN! I liked your disclaimer at the beginning telling why you do it. Jealousy makes people stupid. LOVE the search terms, especially Tammara as i adore that lady! and totally lol'ed over the "i must be hormonal"

  7. Wow! I had no idea that people were bashing Stacking the Shelves and other memes used to share what bookish things one has gotten over the week. I completely agree with you. I've never once thought "nah nah I got cooler stuff" or "wow you're a show off". Whoever these people are - they need to grow up.

Oh and Cursed sounds sooo good. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. :)

  9. I really like seeing people show their books once in a while because of what you said. It is a way to hear about new books. I won't deny the jealousy at times lol but they either remind me about books i have been wanting to read and need to get (buy or check out at the library) or books I've never heard of and need to add to my tbr list. I haven't seen people really say anything about them but I don't see the problem. It's once a week not everyday (more often would be a little much i think). Haha anyways just saying I agree with you. Enjoy all your books :)

  10. I watched this the other day. You know, one of the things I love the most about you is how purely sincere you are in everything. I adore when you get all emotional. <--- not that I like to see you cry, because that would be borderline creepy. Your just so sweet, and you get what you see. Everything you are feeling comes out in all that you do, your reviews, your vlogs, your tweets. I'm so beyond thrilled for Tracey too. If not for you talking me into the tour, I might not have gotten to know her more. She's amazing, and so are you. <3

  12. Blonde babes with big boobs!? OMG, that is so freaking funny! I loe seeing the book haul memes. I admit that I do get jealous sometimes, duh but I would do that for any good book not just ARC's. Cursed sounds awesome and JLA rocks! Can't wait to read that one either. Yay that your love for Tammara Webber is helping other people find out about her. Awesome books! Oh and I love when people ramble, or else it just makes you sound like a robot. Ramble on!

  13. I've heard awesome things about Dante's Girl I can't wait to check it out! I'm so jealous of Cursed! A lot of people are getting it. I requested it off of Net Galley I think or maybe somewhere else I can't really remember but it sounds really good! I hope you enjoy everything you got this week. Here's my IMM =)
